Mel Mann
Chief Judge
For the past four decades, Mel has been an avid collector of American chrome and muscle cars, and all eras of Corvettes. He is a past president of the Antique Automobile Club of America – South Florida Region (“AACA”), co-chairing over 75 car shows in Miami, including 2 national meets. The AACA national award for the finest Corvette is given in his honor annually. He served as the chairman of the Memory Lane exhibit at the Miami International Auto Show for 24 years, and the Art Deco Weekend car festivals for 18 years. Mel judges as a distinguished judge at many concours events in the USA and Canada.
Paul Dimbath
Chief Judge Emeritus, Lake Mirror Classic Concours d'Elegance
Paul is a Senior Master Judge for AACA and the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America. He is a 20-year Chief judge for the Lake Mirror Classic plus a judge for Winter Park and Hilton Head Concours as well as a judge for Classic Chevrolet International. He produced several AACA and VCCA National Meets and was a Charter member of NSRA (52 years).
Paul is a recipient of the Lee Iacocca Award and was awarded the General Motors Heritage Award for the Best Chevrolet of All Time. Owner of three AACA Senior Grand National Vehicles and 14-year Chairman of the VCCA Best of The Best selection committee.
Jay Quail
Jay Quail is the Executive Director Emeritus of the Classic Car Club of America. (CCCA) He has held this position since his appointment in 2008. During that time he has steered the day to day operations of the organization from it’s Chicago world headquarters. Under his leadership, the CCCA has grown to international acceptance in the car hobby space focusing on pre-war era custom bodied, bespoke Full Classic® automobiles. (1915-1948).
Ed Nieves
Ed is a C4 NCRS “Red Hat” 200 level Master Judge and a contributing writer for the Vette Vues Corvette magazine.
Ira Shapiro
Ira has been active with the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance since its inception as Chief Judge and Class Team Lead. Along with the Boca Raton Concours, he has judged at the Miami Concours, Cobble Beach Concours, Highlands Motor Festival, Keels and Wheels and the Lake Mirror Classic.
Jeff Broadus
Jeff has judged at several national concours to include; Amelia Island, Meadow Brook, St. Johns, Hilton Head, New York, Dayton, Burn, Boca Raton, The Elegance and the Lake Mirror Classic.
Bob Squier
Bob has been a judge at the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance since its inception in 2007 and for the last five years as a Distinguished Judge and for six years as a judge for the Lake Mirror Concurs. Additionally, he has judged at the Gasparilla Concours d’Elegance and the Delray Beach Concours.
Philip Williams
Philip has judged at the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance since its inception as well as several AACA South Florida meets.
Erich Smith
Erich’s Concours experience has been judging for well over a decade at various events. His biggest contribution to the Concours world has been his work for the last 15 years with the Boca Raton Concours D’Elegance.
Bill Harshman
Bill, has been a car junkie all his life. Senior level judging credentials include Lake Mirror Classic, Gasparilla, and many AACA events across the southeast.
Al Ossorio
Al has served as Judging Coordinator for the Highlands Motoring Festival. Show Chairman and Chief Judge at VMCCA National Meets. Participated at Gasparilla Concours as Class Judge, Class Host at Amelia Concours and Docent at Atlanta Concours.
Wilbur Strickland
Wilbur has judged cars at Hilton Head Island, Porsche Werks Reunion Amelia Island and Sandhills Motoring Festival. He serves as the Chief Judge for the Sandhills Motoring Festival (Pinehurst, NC).
Jason Wenig
Jason was named a “Top 20 Restorer” by Sports Car Market and awarded the “Master Craftsman Award” by the America’s Automotive trust and the RPM Foundation “Restorer’s Award”. Jason co-founded and continues to serve as Executive Director of the Motorcar Cavalcade Concours d’Elegance.
Mark Becker
Mark is a collector/restorer focused on late pre-war and immediate post-war limited production American cars. Formerly the Vice-Chairman of the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. Previous curator for the Amelia, Greenwich and Detroit Concours. Mark has judged throughout the country and is the Chief Judge for the Airflow Club of America.
John Giltinen
John has served on the judging teams for the Atlanta Concours, the Boca Raton Concours, the Hilton Head Concours, the Delray (FL) Concours, and the Lake Mirror Classic. From 2012 until the end of 2020, he was a co-curator for the antique car collection at the Elliott Museum in Stuart, FL.
John Kefalonitis
John is a Master Judge for several automobile clubs including CCCA, Mercedes, the Packard Automobile Classics, and the AACA. He is a current judge at several U.S. and European Concours d’ Elegance.
BarbaraAnn Kefalonitis
BarbaraAnn has been judging since the 1980’s and was the Head Judge for the CCCA Museum Experience for 11 years. She judges at several U.S. and European Concours d’ Elegance.

Gerald Curts
Gerry has been a nationally certified Porsche Judge for 33 years. During that time, he has served as both Head Judge and Concours Chairman for several national and regional Concours d’ Elegance events. Gerry has served as a judge for the Lake Mirror Classic for 6 years and enjoys judging European sports and racing cars.
Edd Augustine
Edd has been a master judge NCRS, AACA Judge, and numerous events as a Concours judge. Has participated at the Lake Mirror Classic as a judge and participant in the Concours for many years.
Bob Mayer
Bob has been collecting cars for nearly 50 years and has been a Concours judge at the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance since its inception in 2007. He also served as a judge in the 2023 DelRay Beach Concours d’elegance.
Bob is a retired 40-plus year television news anchor and reporter, having worked nearly all of those years in South Florida.
David Berndt
David has been involved in organizing, judging and assisting in the production of various automotive events in the Orlando area. These include: Lake Dora Classic, Mount Dora Classic Car Festival, Mt. Dora; Winter Park Concours; Gasparilla Concours d’Elegance; Festivals of Speed, as an early partner and Judge. Currently Chief Judge for the 2024 Gasparilla Concours in St. Petersburg.
Rick Race
Brad Bean
Brad judges annually at Boca Raton, Greenbrier, Radnor Hunt, Chattanooga and Highlands. He served as chief judge for the Gasparilla Concours d’Elegance and judged at several other concours. Served as a judge at Chevy Classic & National Nomad Association marquee events and has experience restoring and showing vehicles at over 25 marquee and 30 concours events.
Tom Cox
Tom is a former two-time National President and Director of the Antique Automobile Club of America and is a past President of the Virginia Museum of Transportation. An AACA Senior Master Judge with nearly 200 credits, serves on both the AACA Zenith and National Awards Judging Teams and is a founding member of the Greenbrier Concours committee.
Stella Ashen
Stella has been a Concours Judge for over a decade, first at the the Boca Raton CDE and more recently at the Lake Mirror Classic. For the past 30 years, she has worked on restoration projects with her husband and on her own. She thinks it’s wonderful when the love of cars brings people together for projects or events, especially when a charity benefits.
Ken Brower
Ken has been a Concours Judge for the Lake Mirror Classic for 16 years and for Gasparilla Concours for 2 years. Active Member of: Studebaker Driver’s Club, Florida Chapter of POCI and Lakeland Cruiser’s.
Pete Bartelli
Pete is the former National Chief Judge of the Porsche Club of America (PCA), the Porsche 356 Registry and the Winter Park Concours in Florida. Pete still serves as a senior judge at numerous multi marque concours events, domestically and internationally. Pete is a Director of the International Chief Judges Advisory Group (ICJAG) which develops, organizes and maintains the judging standards for over 55 concours events worldwide.
Russell Glace
Russell officiates and/or judges at approximately 16 Concours events annually. Some of those include Boca Raton Concours, Motorcar Cavalcade Miami and Chattanooga Motoring Festival.
Rubén L. Verdés
Rubén serves as a judge in various concours around the country—from the Pebble Beach Concours to the Greenwich Concours—and serves on the car selection committees of various concours.
