Every car on the Lake Mirror Promenade is evaluated by master and senior judges drawn from the most respected concours in the country , the people who decide Best in Class and Best in Show.

Chief Judge
For four decades Mel has collected American chrome, muscle cars, and Corvettes of every era. A past president of the AACA South Florida Region, he co-chaired more than 75 car shows in Miami , including two national meets , and the AACA national award for the finest Corvette is given in his honor each year.
He chaired the Memory Lane exhibit at the Miami International Auto Show for 24 years and the Art Deco Weekend car festivals for 18, and judges at concours across the USA and Canada.
Chief Judge Emeritus
A Senior Master Judge for the AACA and the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America, Paul served 20 years as Chief Judge of the Lake Mirror Classic and judges at Winter Park, Hilton Head, and Classic Chevrolet International. He is a 52-year charter member of the NSRA.
A recipient of the Lee Iacocca Award and the General Motors Heritage Award for the Best Chevrolet of All Time, he served 14 years as chairman of the VCCA Best of the Best selection committee.

Executive Director Emeritus of the Classic Car Club of America, a role he has held since 2008, steering the organization from its Chicago headquarters. Under his leadership the CCCA grew to international standing, focused on pre-war, custom-bodied Full Classic® automobiles (1915 to 1948).
A C4 NCRS "Red Hat" 200-level Master Judge and a contributing writer for Vette Vues Corvette magazine.
Active with the Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance since its inception as Chief Judge and Class Team Lead. He has also judged the Miami Concours, Cobble Beach, the Highlands Motor Festival, Keels and Wheels, and the Lake Mirror Classic.
Has judged at national concours including Amelia Island, Meadow Brook, St. Johns, Hilton Head, New York, Dayton, Boca Raton, The Elegance, and the Lake Mirror Classic.
A judge at the Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance since its inception in 2007 , the last five years as a Distinguished Judge , and a six-year judge for the Lake Mirror Classic. He has also judged the Gasparilla and Delray Beach Concours.
Has judged at the Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance since its inception, as well as several AACA South Florida meets.
More than a decade of concours judging, with his biggest contribution being 15 years of work with the Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance.
A car junkie all his life. Senior-level judging credentials include the Lake Mirror Classic, Gasparilla, and many AACA events across the Southeast.
Judging Coordinator for the Highlands Motoring Festival; Show Chairman and Chief Judge at VMCCA National Meets; Class Judge at Gasparilla, Class Host at Amelia, and Docent at the Atlanta Concours.
Has judged at Hilton Head Island, the Porsche Werks Reunion at Amelia Island, and the Sandhills Motoring Festival, where he serves as Chief Judge (Pinehurst, NC).
Named a "Top 20 Restorer" by Sports Car Market and honored with the "Master Craftsman Award" and the RPM Foundation "Restorer's Award." He co-founded and serves as Executive Director of the Motorcar Cavalcade Concours d'Elegance.
A collector and restorer focused on late pre-war and early post-war limited-production American cars. Former Vice-Chairman of the Amelia Island Concours and curator for the Amelia, Greenwich, and Detroit Concours, he is Chief Judge for the Airflow Club of America.
Has served on the judging teams for the Atlanta, Boca Raton, Hilton Head, Delray, and Lake Mirror Classic concours. From 2012 to 2020 he was co-curator of the antique car collection at the Elliott Museum in Stuart, FL.
A Master Judge for several clubs including the CCCA, Mercedes, the Packard Automobile Classics, and the AACA, and a current judge at several U.S. and European Concours d'Elegance.
Judging since the 1980s, she was Head Judge for the CCCA Museum Experience for 11 years and judges at several U.S. and European Concours d'Elegance.

A nationally certified Porsche judge for 33 years, serving as Head Judge and Concours Chairman for several national and regional events. A six-year Lake Mirror Classic judge, he enjoys judging European sports and racing cars.
A Master Judge for NCRS and AACA and a concours judge at numerous events. He has taken part in the Lake Mirror Classic as both judge and Concours participant for many years.
Collecting cars for nearly 50 years and a judge at the Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance since its inception in 2007, plus the 2023 Delray Beach Concours. He is a retired 40-plus-year television news anchor and reporter.
Has organized, judged, and produced automotive events across the Orlando area , including the Mount Dora Classic, Winter Park Concours, Gasparilla Concours, and Festivals of Speed. He is Chief Judge for the Gasparilla Concours in St. Petersburg.
A Corvette judge and former Corvette Bloomington Gold Certification Co-Director. He holds a senior judge rating with the Ferrari Club of America, sits on the IAC/PFA advisory council, and has served two terms as President of the Ferrari Club of America.
Judges annually at Boca Raton, Greenbrier, Radnor Hunt, Chattanooga, and Highlands, and served as Chief Judge for the Gasparilla Concours. He brings deep experience restoring and showing vehicles at dozens of marque and concours events.
A former two-time National President of the AACA and past President of the Virginia Museum of Transportation. An AACA Senior Master Judge with nearly 200 credits, he serves on the AACA Zenith and National Awards judging teams and is a founding member of the Greenbrier Concours committee.
A Concours judge for over a decade , first at Boca Raton and more recently at the Lake Mirror Classic. For 30 years she has worked on restoration projects, and loves when a shared passion for cars brings people together, especially when a charity benefits.
A Concours judge for the Lake Mirror Classic for 16 years and Gasparilla for two. An active member of the Studebaker Drivers Club, the Florida POCI chapter, and the Lakeland Cruisers.
Former National Chief Judge of the Porsche Club of America, the Porsche 356 Registry, and the Winter Park Concours. A senior judge at concours worldwide, he is a Director of the International Chief Judges Advisory Group (ICJAG), which maintains judging standards for 55+ events.
Officiates and/or judges at roughly 16 concours events each year, including the Boca Raton Concours, Motorcar Cavalcade Miami, and the Chattanooga Motoring Festival.
