This page will contain the latest important details for you to know about your event at this year’s Lake Mirror Classic.  See details in the appropriate section below and check for updates before you arrive at your gate on Friday or Saturday. Thank you.

NOTE:
All Gate/Load-in emails have been sent on Oct. 16.
Concours emails sent approx. 4pm.
Downtown emails sent approx. 4:40pm.
Hot Rod Rendezvous emails sent approx. 6:30pm.

ALL Emails were re-sent on Wed., Oct 18 between 12:00 (noon) and 12:15pm. Many people were missing emails in Spam. This was just a precaution to make sure all received their gate info. No Gates or Times were changed.

You should have an email with instructions for arriving to your event.
If you have not received it, check your spam folder and reference the time above.

There are 2 lots here next to each other.  Both are available. Consider the exits and plan ahead for easy egress of your equipment.

Q: I need to park my trailer and tow vehicle and did not check the box on my registration. Do I need to sign up for parking or just show up at the parking lot?
A: While checking the box helps us plan for space and staffing before the event, you can still use any of the Parking lots as needed. Your name doesn’t have to be on a signup sheet to park here.

Q: Will we be able to unload Friday night and park in parking garage like in the past
A: Yes, in Orange Street Garage – Gain access at the entry gate from Lime Street

Open Car Show

SATURDAY MORNING ENTRY:

To save time at your gate, make sure to have your “LM Gate Info” email (sent Oct 16) available on your phone or printed.  All cars must be pre-registered and on a list to get access through the gate.

Your “LM Gate Info” email has some directions for your gate. To visually see where your entry is, refer to this official map.

Arrival times are staggered to ease congestion. Do not arrive before your assigned time indicated in the email.  We are limited on where we can stage cars for entry.

Please follow the instructions in your email. Several roads are blocked off for the car show and a farmer’s market north of the event. Enjoy your morning and read carefully the suggested approach to your gate. Find this in your email from Monday, 10/16.

Gates 7,8,9,10: do not approach on Orange street – we cannot block roads.  Come in via Lime and take an appropriate street north to your gate. Queue on that street until you can proceed across Orange and through the gate. There will be volunteers at all gates to assist.

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Once cars are parked, there will be no movement unless approved by Gate Captains. At 8:30am, proceed to the Registration Tent located at the northeast corner of Lemon & Kentucky to pick up your Sign and Goodie Bag. Registration Tent WILL NOT OPEN BEFORE 8:30am.

2. Car owner’s meeting on your block will be at 9:30 to go over the do’s and don’ts of the show. This meeting will also go over the exit procedure. It’s a safety thing. Cars should be moved by 3:30 or in a legal parking spot per City of Lakeland request.

3. Hoods down until 12:00 noon for photography. If you’re asked to open your hood, please do.

4. Ribbons for cars will be distributed throughout the show for cars the judges like. Awards (Swans) for the top 3 cars will be awarded at the winner’s car around 2-2:30pm.

4. Please, no leaving early! If an emergency arises, and you must leave, please let one of the volunteers know and they will escort you out of the show.

Concours d’Elegance

Gates 1 & 2: Approach on Orange Street and turn into your gate. There will be volunteers at all gates to assist.

Gate 3: Depending on where you’re coming from, you may be impacted by the Orange St. closure near the Magnolia Bldg.  See this map if you are coming from the Trailer/Overnight parking area.

Event Hours: 5pm – 10pm

Time to arrive: 3pm – 4:45pm

No entries after 5:30pm – no exceptions for safety reasons

IMPORTANT

Fire Extinguisher is required with all vehicles.

No leaving the show before dismissal at approx. 3pm.
In case of emergency and for the safety of all guests, you MUST BE escorted out by Staff if you have to leave early.
